PRITHAK FOUNDATION celebrated its 8th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. The entire foundation team wholeheartedly participated in the success of this annual grand event Odyssey 2022. The successful event was made possible by the tireless efforts of all students and the supporting hands of PRITHAK FOUNDATION.
The function began with a warm welcome by our anchors with a flash of digital lamp lightning by the chief guest Mr. Courtney J Woods, Public Diplomacy Officer, US Embassy, New Delhi, and Chairman Mr. Abhay Raj Singh.
Subsequently, our anchor welcomed the audience, guests, and all participants they informed everyone about Prithak Foundation and its achievements along with the journey of the 8th Odyssey 2022. Many of our students got selected for various job-oriented courses, exchange programs, various interventions, etc. it is truly a proud moment for the foundation and for their parents as well.
A documentary on Prithak Foundation’s journey was played during the function which was focused on various interventions conducted by the Prithak Foundation for the holistic all-around development of children & youths residing in the Sanjay Colony and its adjacent areas.
The 8th Odyssey 2022 was a spectacular talent showcase day of the year as well as an appreciation ceremony day to felicitate, recognize and appreciate the talent of students in various fields and the efforts of our volunteers, staff & members. It was indeed an incredible display of talent. This year we had over 460 people who graced us as an audience for Odyssey 2022.
The chief guest in his speech address emphasized three principles. First, was the importance of education among underprivileged strata of society, and the sky is the limit for somebody who studies and education is what strengthens you. The second was faith in yourself, believe in yourself that you have that hidden potentiality and you can do it. The third was to be grounded in your roots, help others in any manner of your capability, and try to give back to your society once you are capable of doing so. No matter, whether your contribution is small or big but contributing toward the development of your society is important.
The event moved on with the group music performances based on "life is beautiful and colorful" followed by various other performances based on making a difference, 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, and Unity in Diversity as it was the theme of the Odyssey 2022.
We concluded the event with a grand vote of thanks to our hardworking, lovable, and dedicated Volunteers, Teachers, Students, Mentors, Community People, and everyone who was presented in the celebration.
